Nancy A. Ruffin | 2024 Latina of Influence
Hispanic Lifestyle is honored to recognize Writer, Leadership Coach, Woman of Faith Podcast, and Community Advocate Nancy A. Ruffin as a Latina of Influence. Ms. Ruffin will be recognized for her leadership in our community during Hispanic Lifestyle’s Connecting Latinas of Influence | Bronx, New Jersey to be held on September 26, 2024.
Nancy A. Ruffin is a 4x award winning writer, healthcare administrator and leadership coach. Nancy has published four books and her work has been cited and published in various online magazines and literary journals. In 2017, Nancy was awarded the International Latino Book Award for Best Self Help book for her book, Live On Purpose and was featured in Latina Magazine for the transformative work she does with her annual strategic visioning workshops. A 2020 Entre Nosotras honoree and award recipient, Nancy was honored during the 2020 Spring Somos Conference of The New York State Assembly Puerto Rican-Hispanic Task Force for her accomplishments as a healthcare leader, philanthropist and contributions to the advancement of the Puerto Rican-Hispanic community.
With over 20 years experience as a healthcare leader leading large teams, Nancy leveraged her experience and founded The Nancy Ruffin Success Academy, a personal and professional development consulting firm, committed to working with individuals and organizations invested in career success and leadership development.
Nancy also hosts and produces The Woman of Faith Podcast, a weekly podcast that inspires listeners to live boldly and fearlessly by sharing stories of faith, resources and tips that equip women with tools to elevate their life, skills and business. Nancy currently serves on the Board of Directors for the 100 Hispanic Women and is the former President of the NJ Program.
When Nancy is not working, she serves her community by spearheading annual back to school backpack drives, holiday toy drives, and leading a weekly Bible study. She is also a devoted mother and wife, and cites her family as her biggest inspiration.
