Silvia Fresneda | 2024 Latina Of Influence

Hispanic Lifestyle is pleased to honor a 30 year plus Home Mortgage industry veteran Silvia Fresneda as a Latina of Influence. Ms. Fresneda who is Home Mortgage Consultant for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage will be recognized for her leadership in our community during Hispanic Lifestyle’s Connecting Latinas of Influence | Florida, to be held on October 23, 2024.

Silvia Fresneda, I was born in Cuba and came to the US at the age of 8 years old. I grew up in Miami rooted in the Hispanic community.  As a Hispanic woman, there has always been challenges in my life, but I always try to overcome any obstacles and turn them into learning opportunities. I have been in the mortgage industry for over 30 years. In 1992 I started working in a mortgage company as a receptionist and built my way up, from being an assistant, to a mortgage processor, to a loan officer. I have always been passionate about helping others, and what better gratification than knowing I made a difference in helping people achieve their homeownership dream.  Working for Wells Fargo for last 6 years as a Community Mortgage Consultant, has giving me the opportunity of participating in many events to help the community and educate first time home buyers with essential topics such as credit management, budgeting and mortgage preparation which are instrumental in helping them secure the right loan for their needs. I am honored that I get to help many people especially in the Latin population that like me, have come into this country looking for a better life filled with endless opportunities. My biggest blessing has been the support of my husband and my wonderful children that have always pushed me to become better every day.
