Tico Sports to Broadcast Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII
Tico Sports, a division of Tico Productions, LLC in Kansas City, Missouri, will provide the official Spanish radio broadcast of both the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona on February 12, 2023. This will be the first time in history that Tico Sports will be broadcasting two competing teams in a Super Bowl.
Established in 2016, Tico Sports provides high energy Spanish-language broadcasts for professional and collegiate sports teams. This season, Tico Sports has produced over 100 NFL games across five different NFL teams, making it the most in history for the Kansas City-based company.
Tico Sports, a Latino-owned company, broadcasts to an international audience. “We are incredibly thankful for our relationships with the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles,” stated Cici Rojas, President. “With the success of both teams, we are excited for the opportunity to provide an accessible, in-language broadcast for NFL fans across the globe.”
According to recent data, “90% of Hispanics use digital audio platforms or services to stream radio, and 95% are reached weekly on AM/FM radio.” Tico Sports recognizes the need for an in-language outlet, and authentically showcases the excitement of the NFL to the Latino community.
The Tico Sports Chiefs Gameday Crew consists of Oscar Monterroso, Founder and Color Commentator, Kike Morales, Play by Play, and Hannah Bassham, Sideline Reporter. The Tico Sports Eagles Gameday Crew consists of Rickie Ricardo, Play by Play, Oscar Budejen, Color Commentator, Bill Kulik, producer, and David Gerhardt, spotter. Tico is known for their lively discussions and highly enthusiastic calls throughout each game. This will be the third Super Bowl Tico Sports is calling for the Chiefs, and the first Super Bowl calling for the Eagles.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles face each other in Super Bowl LVII on February 12, 2023 at 4:30PM MST. You can hear both broadcasts on the Tico Sports website (www.tico- sports.com), Chiefs and Eagles App, and NFL+ starting 15 minutes before kick-off.
