SPOTLIGHT | Liliana T. Pérez-Palacios

Over the years, we have seen Liliana T. Pérez-Palacios, recognized numerous times for her commitment to our community. In 2023, Hispanic Lifestyle’s spoke with Liliana, who is the Sr. Director of Cultural Affairs at the Los Angeles Chargers, about her involvement with the professional football team and their commitment to connecting with the Latino community.

ABOUT Liliana T. Pérez-Palacios
As the Sr. Director of Cultural Affairs at the Los Angeles Chargers, she is responsible for creating long-lasting relationships with Southern California’s diverse economic, cultural, and social sectors. Liliana drives cross-functional alignment of internal divisions to provide optimized benefits to corporate partners and fans alike.

Her bio states that she attended California State University of Northridge, CSUN; have 25 years of experience in the public sector, served under six Speakers of the CA Assembly, Proudly serving in the following administrations: Villaraigosa, Nunez, Bass, Atkins, Perez, and Rendon and Governor Gray Davis; founder and owner of PODEROSA INC.; Liliana believes “My network is my net worth, I like to keep  my connections simple, meaningful, and always leave an indelible mark.

In July of 2023 Liliana was appointed by LA City Mayor Karen Bass to serve as the Commissioner of the El Pueblo Historic Monument, the birthplace our City of the Angels. In August of 2023, she was elected President of the El Pueblo Commission, affectionately aka La Placita, Olvera Street, Plaza Olvera, the birthplace of LA at https://elpueblo.lacity.gov/

The Los Angeles Chargers will open the 2025 NFL season in São Paulo, Brazil, on Friday, September 5th, as the NFL returns to the country for its second regular-season game, hosting an opponent to be determined.
