Former American football tight end who played in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of California, Berkeley, and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft. Gonzalez, a fourteen-time Pro Bowl selection, currently holds the NFL records for touchdown receptions (111) and total reception yards (15,127) by a tight end.
