Miami Beach is known as one of the most desirable places in the world to visit and relax. It was also the location of the gathering of Latino owned businesses and professionals. For three days Hispanic Lifestyle took our cameras around the area known as South Beach to experience a community that continues to rebuild and grown their economy.

We start off this episode by talking with Javier Palomarez, President and CEO of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Palomarez went on to talk about their kick off event for the convention.

Next we had a chance to visit with the National Director of the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), Mr. David Hinson. The director spoke with us about the agency’s role in help to rebuild our economy.
We asked the director to talk about their relationship with partner agencies.
Director Hinson went on to give out his contact information to insure that those wanting assistance will have the access to the agencies services.

We also ran into Mr. Roy Perez Chairman of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce who spoke with Hispanic Lifestyle about the organization’s presence at the National convention.

As the newly elected Chairman of the chamber, Mr. Perez went on to talk about the organizations future plans.

Before heading over to the convention center, we took a few moments to talk with Yami with South Beach Hotels about their properties and the South Beach experience.

We asked Yami to explain the area know as Miami Beach.

Yami went on to show us one of their luxury suites at the Catalina.
We finished up our visit at the Catalina by talking with their chief concierge, Kristy (Riano) about other activities to experience during a trip to Miami.

Luis Manuel Ramírez, Chief Executive Officer
GE Energy Industrial Solutions
Returning to the convention we spoke with Luis (Manuel) Ramírez the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GE Energy Industrial Solutions, headquartered in Plainville, Connecticut. Also an officer of the General Electric Company, Mr. Ramirez spoke about the company and his responsibilities.
We went on to talk with Mr. Ramirez about his background and those who encourage his desire receive a college education.
We then talked about career opportunities and his path to becoming a CEO of a major corporation.
Mr. Ramirez went on to talk about his experience at GE.
Mr. Ramirez spoke about why a major corporation like GE was participating with the convention?
Our conversation turned to Mr. Ramirez talking about his future plans at GE.
We finished our conversation by asking Mr. Ramirez if he would share what factors he attributes to his professional success.
