Education plays a critical role in shaping economic opportunities, social mobility, and overall quality of life. For Latinos in the United States, educational attainment has seen significant improvements over the past few decades.
Progress in Latino Education
Over the years, Latino students have made notable strides in education. According to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES):
- High school graduation rates for Latino students have increased from around 60% in the early 2000s to over 80% in recent years.
- College enrollment rates have grown significantly, with more than 3.6 million Latinos enrolled in postsecondary institutions, making them the largest minority group in higher education.
- The number of Latinos earning bachelor’s degrees has nearly doubled in the past two decades.

INSIGHTS – A Day Without Immigrants
On February 3, 2025, the movement “A Day Without Immigrants” was organized to highlight the vital contributions of immigrant communities to the U.S. economy and society.
More than just an economic statement, “A Day Without Immigrants” is a call for fair policies, recognition, and respect. It reminds the nation that immigrants are not just workers but neighbors, entrepreneurs, and vital contributors to the country’s success. Read more @ https://bit.ly/42JgWly
