Jessica (Jes) Sofia Valle is Founder of Bloggers of Health, an award Winning Blog Company. Bloggers of Health aims to improve, educate and connect people and organizations through one common goal- HEALTH. Her company works through social media strategies such as mass blogging, outreach, campaigns, and more. They work with organizations ranging from corporate, community, and non-profit. We Motivate, Encourage, Educate and Help Lives.
Jes is a Psychotherapist at an amazing Non-profit in Southern California, serving children and Family working through Mental Illness, or Mental Illness related issues. Jessica is also a motivational speaker in areas of Mental Illness & Mental Health, Chronic illness; Spine Pain and Blogging.
Jes was born in Los Angeles, CA at UCLA Hospital, raised in Watts, California. She attended college at Concordia University and Argosy University for her graduate studies. Jes Sofia Valle has pain every day, a chronic illness Degenerative Disc Disease. It’s an Invisible pain, but she does not allow that to stop her from helping others and live a happy life. She lives with purpose.
This should give you a little insight about why she does all she does to create awareness about Chronic Illness, Mental Illness, Mental Health and Health. She has also completed various courses in public health, research and community design. She enjoys working and helping companies and networks become connected; those who support efforts are for family and children, whether it is in education, health and/or in technology (social media/Blogging). She enjoys helping as a clinician, social media person, as speaker and family advocate. Her main Goals are to Motivate, Encourage, Educate and Help Lives. Through her Business’ and ongoing partnerships such as, Bloggers of Health (BOH) and Turning leaves Foundation (TLF), and Partnerships with Latinos in technology innovation in social Media (LATISM), and a multitude of other groups to help her projects flourish, She is known as a connector. Jessica loves what she chooses to do.
Projects and Companies Jessica has worked with include, but not limited to, Spanish Language Social Media for the Democratic committee for the 2012 electoral candidate. Pharma ABC’s Campaign. Healthcare.gov Champion of Change. Johnson and Johnson #Inspire Care and Other brands. She also works with ongoing support to orphanages in Guatemala, and other countries.
Jes has been published in The Journal of American Psychiatry, Cosmopolitan, Bloggers of Health, and her works and efforts have been mentioned in FORBES, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and Latina Magazine.
