2020 Latina of Influence | Gloria Burton
Hispanic Lifestyle is pleased to recognize Supplier Diversity and Development Program Manager, at Southern California Edison (SCE) Ms. Gloria Burton as a 2020 Latina of Influence. Ms. Burton along with our entire list of 2020 Latinas of Influence are invited to participate in Latina Conference taking place April 1 and 2, 2020 in Ontario, California.
Gloria Burton has over 20 years of Supply Chain Management experience, she has supported many organizational units across SCE as a procurement Agent and Contract Manager. Currently, Gloria is a Program Manager with Supplier Diversity & Development committed to helping diverse firms strengthen their capabilities so they can grow and become more successful and deliver economic value to our customers and communities.
Prior to joining SCE, Gloria worked for ARCO Products Company the oil and gas industry for 15 years later acquired by BP formerly British Petroleum in various capacities within the areas of Procurement managing multimillion dollar contracts and in support role in Supplier Diversity.
Gloria earned her bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University in business management. She also holds a master’s degree in businesses administration from the University of Redlands.
Gloria is very active with her church and serves as the Mission President and enjoys working to support the youth and assisting rendering songs to those at the Long Term Health care facilities.
She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and especially her granddaughter Syriah, as it keeps her very active.
