2020 Latina of Influence | Nancy C. Romero

Hispanic Lifestyle is pleased to recognize Associate Director & Producer, The Real, Nancy C. Romero  as a 2020 Latina of Influence. Ms. Romero along with our entire list of 2020 Latinas of Influence are invited to participate in Latina Conference taking place June 2, 2020 in Ontario, California.

After attending a job fair at UCLA, Nancy got her start in the number two television market, as a production assistant at KTLA-TV. Immediately after she left KTLA, Romero worked as a producer at various news outlets including KTTV, NBC4, Univision and Telemundo. She got her break as an Associate Director (AD) when her mentor offered her a position on a reality TV show. Nancy has worked in several genres of TV including talk, sitcom, game, reality, news, as well as start-ups. She has worked as an AD for several shows including The Real, RuPaul, Dr. Phil, Ask Oprah’s All-Stars, and Real TV as well as a producer for TD Jakes and The Queen Latifah Show. Early in her career, Romero interned at various locations including CBS, NBC, and the White House News Summary. Nancy has worked in television for more than 25 years and is a member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA). Nancy C. Romero is a UCLA graduate and an active alumna.
