2020 Latina of Influence | Silvia Ichar

Hispanic Lifestyle is pleased to recognize Founder and Publisher of PARA TODOS Magazine, Silvia Ichar as a 2020 Latina of Influence. Ms. Ichar along with our entire list of 2020 Latinas of Influence are invited to participate in Latina Conference taking place April 1 and 2, 2020 in Ontario, California.

Silvia Ichar, founder and publisher of nationally recognized PARA TODOS magazine, was born and educated in Argentina. In the late 1980s Silvia moved to the United States and instantly immersed herself in assisting the growing latino population in Orange County. Her desire to serve Latinos compelled her to research, create and launch the first Spanish-language magazine in Orange County, PARA TODOS, in October 1995.

2020 marks the 25th anniversary of PARA TODOS and brings to light a milestone, as Silvia Ichar becomes the longest running female owner of a self-published-Spanish-language magazine in the United States. PARA TODOS is also the longest running publication to exclusively showcase latinos on each of its covers since its incarnation. With a focus to empower and educate the latino community in Southern California, PARA TODOS continues to expand in 2020 with a development deal for expansive video content as well as maintain its print publication in circulation.
