Cathy Trevino | 2024 Latina of Influence
Hispanic Lifestyle is honored to recognize Real Estate Leader, Past Chair, Board for the Houston Association of REALTORS, Cathy Trevino as a Latina of Influence. Ms. Trevino will be recognized for her leadership in our community during Hispanic Lifestyle’s Connecting Latinas of Influence | Texas to be held on August 27, 2024 in Dallas, Texas.
With over 26 years of experience in the residential real estate industry, Cathy Treviño is a proven leader not only in Texas but nationally. Cathy is now the Immediate-Past Chair for HAR (The Houston Association of REALTORS®) and was the Managing Broker of Texas for LPT, Realty and was recently promoted to National Industry Relations effective Jan 1, 2024.
Cathy is a licensed Broker in both Texas, and Oklahoma and since 1997, she has dedicated her career to helping motivated real estate agents grow their businesses. The native Houstonian operates on four tenets: her integrity, which has always guided how she lives and works, her dedication to excellent customer service, her drive to ensure her agents’ wellbeing, and an ongoing commitment to education that enables her to bring new concepts to her team.
In addition to serving as the 2024 Immediate-Past Chair of the Board for the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR), Cathy is a Regional Vice President (RVP) for Texas REALTORS®, serves on the Board of Directors with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and serves on the Texas REALTORS®’ Public Policy Infrastructure committee, E&O Task Force and TR Large Broker Focus Group. She is also a Past Chairman for HAR’s International Advisory Group & Past Chairman of Risk Reduction for Texas REALTORS®.
Cathy is also a Past-Chair (2012) of the HAR Lake Houston Networking Group, which she helped revive after 11 years of dormancy. Her voluntary work with these associations helped her achieve a level of success for her agents and clients that she believes would not otherwise have been possible.
Cathy is married to Rick Treviño, who also works with LPT, Realty as a Team “Loyal Texas Properties Group” Cathy loves volleyball, has a first-degree blackbelt in Taekwondo, and is a mom to four adult boys and the proud grandmother of 4!
