Hispanic Lifestyle is pleased to honor the first Mexican woman to get a Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford, Partner at EY and the Global Leader in Artificial Intelligence Deborah Berebichez P.h.D. as a Latina of Influence. Dr. Berebichez will be recognized for her leadership in our community during Hispanic Lifestyle’s Connecting Latinas of Influence | Bronx, New York to be held on September 24, 2024.
Dr. Deborah Berebichez is the first Mexican woman to get a Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford, where she worked with two Nobel Prize winners. Currently, Dr. Berebichez is a Partner at EY and the Global Leader in Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Deborah co-hosted Discovery Channel’s Outrageous Acts of Science TV show for 8 years. She is a sought-after public speaker and an ambassador for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and the IF/THEN foundation. Her work inspiring young women in STEM earned her a life-size statue of her that is on display at the MIT Museum
I strongly believe Deborah Berebichez should be selected as a 2024 Latina of Influence. She is a true leader in STEM (science, tech, engineering and math) who has been a role model for Latinas in tech for over 30 years. She has appeared on numerous TV shows and has been awarded several awards and recognitions.
