Ms. Treviño will be recognized for her leadership in our community during Hispanic Lifestyle’s Connecting Latinas of Influence | Texas to be held on August 27, 2024 in Dallas, Texas.
Emma Treviño brings extensive expertise and a remarkable 25-year track record in Workforce Development to her role. With a visionary approach, she transforms ideas into tangible realities by crafting robust strategic plans. Emma possesses an innate ability to identify subtle opportunities within an organization, weaving them into a cohesive tapestry and fostering innovative thinking among her peers.
Emma’s journey with SER Jobs for Progress National, Inc. began in 2008, where her impact has been profound. She has led numerous projects, programs, and initiatives, establishing her reputation as a luminary in both programming and organizational operations.
Currently serving as the Vice President of Operations, Emma oversees a diverse portfolio that includes the SER Early Head Start program, National Entrepreneurship programs (SER Negocios / SER MUJER), the National Farmworkers Jobs Program, and the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP), managing a combined budget exceeding $30 million. Remarkably, she not only directs the SCSEP program but also holds the esteemed position of National Director for SCSEP.
Emma holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and an MBA. Originally from Los Angeles, California, she also nurtures a passion for travel, enriching her perspective and experiences. Ms. Treviño serves on the Boards of Directors for the Irving Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is a lifetime member of the HWNT (Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas) Dallas, Ft. Worth, and Arlington Chapter. Also, a proud member of the Hispanic100 (A Network of Latina Leaders).
