Laura Flores Simmons | 2024 Latinas of Influence

Hispanic Lifestyle is honored to recognize Commercial Banking Sales Executive for North Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas for Wells Fargo Bank, Laura Flores Simmons as a Latina of Influence. Ms. Flores Simmons will be recognized for her leadership in our community during Hispanic Lifestyle’s Connecting Latinas of Influence | Texas to be held on August 27, 2024 in Dallas, Texas.

Laura joined Wells Fargo in May 2022 as the Commercial Banking Sales Executive for North Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Her responsibilities include the development and execution of the business and sales strategy, in addition to leading a team of Business Development Officers covering companies with revenue greater than $20MM. In addition to her Sales Executive responsibilities, Laura also serves as the Diverse Segment Senior Sponsor, Co-Executive Sponsor of the DFW Hispanic & Latino Connection ERN, is a member of the Commercial Banking DEI Council and the North Texas Public Affairs Council, and represents Wells Fargo on the Board of the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Prior to Wells Fargo, Laura spent 27 years at JPMorgan Chase. Previous roles include the following: i) Community Impact Team Greater West Region Leader; ii) Treasury Sales Group Manager; iii) National Sales Support Manager; iv) Junior Banker Program Manager; and v) North Texas Division Manager/Resource Manager. Prior to roles noted above, she was a Relationship Manager responsible for business development in DFW with companies that have annual revenue between $10MM to $1.5B. Laura graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995 with a BS in Finance.

In 1995, she joined the Chase Officer Development Program and went through the Chase Manhattan Credit Training Program. She has been married to Michael for 29 years and they are the proud parents of two boys, Jacob (23) and Justin (18).
