Paloma Alvarado | 2023 Latina of Influence

We are pleased to announce that Paloma Alvarado, Partner – Field Manager and Recruiter with New York Life Insurance Company, has been selected as a Hispanic Lifestyle 2023 Latina of Influence. Ms. Alvarado will be recognized for her leadership in our community during Hispanic Lifestyle’s Connecting Latinas of Influence – Dallas/Fort Worth event on October 11, 2023.

Paloma Alvarado was raised in Mexico and grew up with a vision of educating herself to become a role model. Her desire to pave the way for others grew when she moved to the USA, graduated, and found a career she is passionate about. She feels blessed to have been able to do this and wants to help others do the same. Paloma started her career in Finance and Insurance after graduating Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Marketing and Global Business from the University of Texas at Dallas. She became a Financial Services Professional at New York Life and her passion for mentoring and helping others succeed led her to her current role as Partner. She is responsible for the hiring and development of new Associates and believes mentorship is key to success. She has been mentored by top Executives within her company as well as serving as a mentor for others, especially Latinas and young professionals.

Paloma has served for different non-profits and professional groups in Dallas throughout the years and currently serves as one of the “Latinas In Progress” Co-Chairs on the HWNT Dallas Chapter.

Paloma is a wife and the dog mom of “Oliver”, who was adopted in 2016. She loves exploring new places and traveling with her husband and friends.
