ROSE HILLS CELEBRATES 2nd Annual DIA DE LOS MUERTOS
Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary celebrates the 2nd Annual Día de los Muertos Cultural Festival and Marketplace with activities including an art exhibit inside the SkyRose Chapel showcasing the talents of various artists, featuring Los Angeles Latino artist Hector Silva. Special activities for children will include an arts & crafts area, with mini workshops and interactive activities; a food court; a local vendor area; a full program of performances and entertainment including Pacifico Dance Group, other groups and a special performance by the band domingoSiete. In addition, families are invited to create their own altar and enter the community altar contest featuring a corridor for display and celebration.

Why: To share the rich tradition and history of Día de los Muertos, Rose Hills Memorial Park & Mortuary hosts the 2nd Annual Día de los Muertos Cultural Festival & Marketplace in honor and to celebrate loved ones who have passed away. This is a signature event to share the culture and heritage of Día de los Muertos with all generations. Rose Hills will honor the tradition by celebrating with families and friends at their Memorial Park, which is visited by more than 3 million people each year.
