Obama Administration to Host Urban Economic Forum in Los Angeles, CA
The White House Business Council and the U.S. Small Business Administration host forum on entrepreneurship, job creation in urban areas
On Thursday, March 22, the White House Business Council and the U.S. Small Business Administration will host an Urban Economic Forum at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. Among many topics important to urban entrepreneurs in the Los Angeles area, White House and Administration officials will discuss the Administration’s support for policies that create private-sector jobs and its ongoing commitment to the next generation of entrepreneurs.
The Urban Economic Forum is the third of a multi-city series designed to connect urban entrepreneurs and business owners to the local and national resources and the networks they need to grow and hire, and to discuss ways to enhance their success. The first Urban Economic Forum was held last month in New York City with another held earlier this month in Birmingham, Alabama. Urban Economic Forums will also be held in Columbus, Detroit, Chicago, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix in the coming months.
Due to limited space, this event is by invitation only to the public. The event will be streamed live at www.whitehouse.gov/live. You can also follow the forum and join the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #UrbanEconForum.
