Lucy Gallardo and her husband Isaac Gallardo established Inland Empire Autobody & Paint, Inc. in 2006; when many where closing their doors they saw an opportunity to open their own business in the City of Riverside. With all odds against them they pushed forward and created one of the best collision and custom shops in the city of Riverside.
Their hard work has earned them several awards in their industry and community.
Lucy is recognized as an, award winning entrepreneur. She has been recognized and featured in Fender Bender Magazine, the 951 Magazine and PBS on the show Biz Kids. Inland Empire Autobody & Paint, Inc., was voted and won best body shop by MyFox LA’s HotList in 2009 and 2011. In 2012 and 2013, Inland Empire Autobody & Paint, Inc., was nominated under the Family Owned Business category at the Spirit of Entrepreneurs awards which was one of the proudest moments in the success of their business. Additionally, Inland Empire Autobody & Paint, Inc., was featured, and won in an episode of Car Warriors, on the Speed Channel where the producers challenged them to compete in building a car in a 48 hours’ period, it was an amazing experience as they won the competition, and took their winning trophy, a 1970 Camaro.
Lucy, through her business has been an inspiration to several students she mentors at John W. North High School for the Global Business Information Technology Academy. She dedicates her time helping students reach their dreams of becoming the next entrepreneur.
Further, Lucy served on the board of directors for the National Latina Business Women Association, Inland Empire as the Ambassador & Community Liaison. Additionally, she is an active member of the Inland Empire United Way where she enjoys supporting families who face socio-economic challenges. As an active community leader she was nominated by the Unforgettable Foundation’s for the “Big Hearts Award”. Her goal is to be an encouragement to the youth in the community. She strives to promote the importance of education by staying in school, encouraging students to reach their goals, and meet their present challenges so they can be over comers.
Lucy is leading by example and has completed a dual major in Business Administration in Management and Entrepreneurial Management with a minor in Human Resources from California State University of San Bernardino.
Today, Inland Empire Autobody & Paint, Inc. services large fleet accounts such as Charter/Spectrum, Solar City, Quest Diagnostics, Riverside Metro Auto Group, Infiniti of Riverside, Riverside County fleet, and City of Riverside, and their customer expansion continues in the Inland Empire area.
Away from work and community service, Lucy highly enjoys the company of her family and treasures the time they spend together.

We believe Inland Empire Autobody & Paint, Inc. should be nominated as a local business that has survived and thrived, because IEABP was opened on the years where our country was facing a financial hardship, and 11 years later we are still in business providing jobs, inspiring our community youth, and making a difference in our community.
