Profile | La Voz Bilingüe
La Voz Bilingüe will be among six companies recognized by Hispanic Lifestyle during our Denver, Colorado Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on October 7, 2015 at the History Colorado Center.
For 41 years La Voz Bilingüe has provided news and information to our Denver community, all of its suburbs, northern Colorado, and Pueblo. We have grown into a well-respected and quality weekly, statewide publication. Our staff and you, our readers and advertisers, have contributed to the success of La Voz and we thank you!
Granted a face-to-face exclusive interview with President Obama in 2012, our publication and website have also scored many industry awards and continue to improve quality and reach. That reach will now include Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs has developed into a great hub that connects Colorado communities.
Colorado Springs boasts a Latino population of 16.1 percent or better. La Voz Bilingüe sees the opportunity to increase its reach and provide a voice for Colorado Springs starting on September 24, 2014.
About La Voz
La Voz, Colorado’s #1 Hispanic-owned bilingual publication, was the ONLY bilingual/Spanish-only print media to land an EXCLUSIVE interview with President Obama, cementing the power of the Latino vote and the influence and reach of our 40-year-old, bilingual publica- tion. Furthermore, our award-winning staff garnered 14 awards at the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) at the Anaheim convention. The publisher of La Voz Bilingüe is Pauline Rivera. Ms. Rivera has been in media since the mid 70’s, working at Denver’s 7 (KMGH-TV) for 15 years until 2004.
