We felt it was important to hold our annual Latina Conference, Important to shine the spotlight on this years Latinas of Influence. Pushing forward our platform HispanicLifestyle.Com with the digital presentation of Latina Conference 2020 Connecting Latinas of Influence has been an exciting experience in these challenging times.
Today’s program is being produced exclusively online and will feature a Cooking Workshop, Insights from Financial Experts, A Community Health Update. We will highlight all of our 2020 Latinas Influence with an introduction video, followed by discussions on Business, Community Education and Media.

On a personal note, my sister Virginia would have celebrated her birthday today, I just want to say how much we miss her.

Currently our estimated weekly reach is 250k business owners and professionals throughout the United States. Annually Hispanic Lifestyle has approximately 13 million online impressions when you combine our email newsletter, social media postings and visits to our websites.

Priya Batra, MD, MS, FACOG - Senior Medical Director – Family and Community Health
Dr. Priya Batra joined IEHP as the Medical Director for Family and Community Health in June, 2017. As a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Dr. Batra brings clinical expertise in women’s health, child health, and reproductive care to IEHP. She completed her MD degree at Columbia University, and her clinical training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Since then, Dr. Batra has provided full-scope care to women in both academic and safety net care settings throughout Southern California.
Dr. Batra’s formal training and experience in health services research and implementation science play a large role in her approach to improving care for IEHP members at the family and community levels. Dr. Batra completed an MS in Health Policy and Management from the Fielding School of Public Health through the Robert Wood Foundation Clinical Scholars Program at UCLA. This background has driven her to focus on developing health policies and programs that support: evidence-based care, disease prevention, health equity, and addressing the social determinants of health.
Dr. Batra continues to serve in Adjunct faculty positions with both the UCR School of Medicine and the RAND Corporation; she is an Associate Editor of Women’s Health Issues. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society for Family Planning, AcademyHealth, and the Preconception Health Council of California.
Olyvia Padua, Campus Program Manager at Wells Fargo
She is currently a Campus Program Manager, where she oversees the relationships of select colleges and universities throughout San Diego, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico. A favorite part of her role is providing tools and resources to support the financial goals of thousands of students, faculty and staff. Olyvia delivers various workshops and discussions on topics such as credit, budgeting and saving, retirement and paying for college—and is committed to helping participants attain the financial savviness to achieve their goals.
An alumni of UCLA Anderson Executive Education and Wells Fargo’s Latino Leaders Program; Olyvia is passionate about helping others be the best version of themselves by making authentic meaningful connections and providing the right guidance. She leads the mentorship program for Wells Fargo’s Southern California Latin Connection Team Member Network and volunteers with various nonprofits throughout Inland Empire to provide essential financial education to community members. Outside of work and volunteering, Olyvia enjoys camping and attending sporting events with her husband and four wonderful boys.
Russell Reneau, Retail and Small Business Credit Consultant Greater California Region Wells Fargo & Company
A 15-year Wells Fargo veteran, Reneau’s previous roles within the company were as a Business Area Manager and Branch Manager supporting numerous communities across Southern California.
Reneau is an avid community supporter, serving on the executive leadership board for the Hope through Housing foundation, which provides seniors, families and youth access to services and resources that promote prosperity, quality of life and physical well-being in cities across Southern California and the nation. He also serves one the community advisory board for the Asian Industry Business to Business network. He is a strong community partner and volunteer coordinator for Wells Faro team members across Southern California. Additionally, Reneau serves on the board for the Inland Empire Veterans Team Member Network where he serves the unique needs of veterans internally within Wells Fargo and externally across the Inland Empire region of Southern California.
Prior to his time with Wells Fargo Bank, Reneau was a small business owner. His passion for elevating the performance of local businesses and improving the lives of business owners in our communities is evident in his current role.
Joanne A. Landa, CFP® Senior Vice President, Senior Investment Specialist Pasadena Region
Joanne Landa is a Senior Investment Strategist- Senior Vice President located in the Pasadena, CA Wells Fargo Private Bank office. As part of investment management, Ms. Landa works with clients to help develop, implement and manage portfolios that help them meet their investment objectives while managing risk. She manages assets for affluent individuals and families, non-profit organizations, and retirement plans.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Joanne was VP/Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank in Los Angeles, California for 12 years, where she specialized in managing investment portfolios for affluent individuals and families. She began her career as a licensed securities broker, and has been in the financial industry for more than 25 years.
Mrs. Landa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. She has been awarded the Certified Financial Planner designation, is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute, and the CFA Society of Los Angeles.
Joanne is a current member of the National Charity League, Alumni Association of UC Irvine, and a past board member of the Pasadena Armory Center for the Arts. She lives in La Crescenta with her husband and three children, and is involved in several local youth organizations as a volunteer and coach.
Martin P. Sanchez Vice President/West Region Market Leader Wells Fargo & Company
Sanchez manages a team that partners with community organizations, elected and appointed officials and other community leaders and public policy advocates to support home preservation and business development within 13 states in the West Region.
Sanchez joined Wells Fargo in 2013. Before joining Wells Fargo, he was Senior Financial Analyst at IndyMac Bank, supporting Secondary Marketing & Correspondent Lending, and Homeownership Advisor at JPMorgan Chase, working with customers to provide home retention options.
Sanchez currently serves as board member of The Adelante Youth Alliance (AYA), a non-profit organization based in Pasadena, CA whose mission is to educate and empower youth to develop their academic, career and leadership potential. He also serves as a board member of NeighborWorks Orange County, a housing non-profit in Orange, CA
A native Angeleno, he graduated from Santa Clara University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Spanish. He also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University
