Local Assistance & Disaster Resource Centers for Impacted Residents

Local Assistance & Disaster Resource Centers will open to the public on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00PM. Starting Wednesday, January 15, 2025, the Disaster Resource Centers will be available to the public from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Free N95 Masks Available Now At Los Angeles County Libraries

To protect residents from toxic air quality in areas throughout the region, N95 masks are being made available for free at the following Los Angeles County libraries:

UPDATED: Eight Local Library Sites to Host FEMA Staff to Assist Residents

Local libraries will host FEMA staff at eight locations to allow residents affected by the wildfires to submit applications for disaster relief.
The following libraries will be open Today, January 12 through Monday, January 13, from 9:00 am-5:00 pm.

  • Open January 12 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday, January 13 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE

The SBA Disaster loan application portal is OPEN
SBA’s Disaster Loan Program is active and accepting applications from
Los Angeles County homeowners, renters, businesses, and private non-profit organizations affected by the fires which began on Jan 7,2025 and continuing:
  • Home Disaster Loans – Loans to homeowners or renters to repair or replace disaster-damaged real estate and personal property, including automobiles.
  • Business Physical Disaster Loans – Loans to businesses to repair or replace disaster-damaged property owned by the business, including real estate, inventories, supplies, machinery, and equipment. Businesses of any size are eligible. Private, non-profit organizations such as charities, churches, private universities, etc., are also eligible.
  • Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) – Working capital loans to help small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private, non-profit organizations of all sizes meet their ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the disaster. These loans are intended to assist through the disaster recovery period.

The SBA is opening two Disaster Loan Outreach Centers (DLOC). The centers will provide 1:1 assistance to small businesses, private nonprofit (PNP) organizations, homeowners and renters who sustained economic losses and physical damages.

Walk-ins are accepted, but you can also schedule an in-person appointment in advance atappointment.sba.gov.
Survivors are encouraged to simultaneously apply for FEMA grants and SBA low-interest disaster loan assistance to fully recover. FEMA grants are intended to cover necessary expenses and serious needs not paid by insurance or other sources. The SBA disaster loan program is designed for your long-term recovery.  For more information and including how to apply visit sba.gov/disaster.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is March 10, 2025. The deadline to return economic injury applications is Oct. 8, 2025.
