Winners of the 27th Annual Imagen (Spanish for “image”) Awards, honoring positive portrayals of Latinos and Latino culture in entertainment, were announced tonight at a star-studded dinner ceremony held in the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Special recognition went to Jenni Rivera: Latin music artist and superstar; star and Executive Producer of “I Love Jenni” and Executive Producer “Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis ‘n Control” who received the President’s Award. There was also special Performance by “Jessica” from The Electric Company: Priscilla “P-Star” Diaz. Producer, Director and Community Leader Moctezuma Esparza received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
