National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize outstanding achievements on behalf of the Latino community.
The National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) proudly announces its 9th Annual Local Impact Awards Luncheon. This year NHMC will recognize the outstanding achievements of Congressman Esteban Torres (Ret.), KNBC’s Kathy Vara, KABC’s Danny Romero, Univision’s Gabriela Teissier, and Radio Billingüe. Big Boy and KNBC’s Ana Garcia will serve as Masters of Ceremonies.
Beyond honoring those individuals or entities whose achievements, generosity of spirit, or courage-under-fire have greatly benefited Latinos in California, the Annual Local Impact Awards Luncheon serves as a fundraiser to help NHMC carry out its mission to advocate for and recognize those Latinos in the media who are making a difference.
