Debralee Santos | 2024 Latina of Influence

Hispanic Lifestyle is pleased to honor Publisher and Editor in Chief of The Manhattan Times and The Bronx Free Press Debralee Santos as a Latina of Influence. Ms. Santos will be recognized for her leadership in our community during Hispanic Lifestyle’s Connecting Latinas of Influence | Bronx, New York to be held on September 24, 2024.

Debralee Santos serves as Publisher and Editor in Chief of The Manhattan Times and The Bronx Free Press, New York’s award-winning bilingual community newspapers. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, she is a journalist, writer and editor whose work centers on issues of political, civic and social interest, and whose fluency in communications is unmatched in English, Spanish and everything in between. Ms. Santos provides frequent analysis and commentary across various outlets including WNYC, BBC, NY1, Univision, Telemundo, PBS’ MetroFocus and CNN en Espanol. She has been named as one of “Manhattan Power 50,” a listing of the most influential unelected members of the borough, has been recognized as a “Woman of Distinction” by El Diario/La Prensa, and was a recipient of The City University of New York’s 2022 Distinguished Latino Leaders Award.
