A Sunday adventure to Palm Desert

We got a late start yesterday and just missed their swap meet. We did have a nice warm stroll up and down El Paseo Drive, looking at the shops: Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren, and various art galleries. The artwork located throughout the area known as the “Shops on El Paseo” is amazing.

Unfortunately, since this was a last-minute adventure, we had no idea they had just held a fashion week (March 14-19) and Sunday was the last day of their food and wine event. We walked up as they were wrapping up.

They have a lot going on in this beautiful city about 40 miles east of us.  On a good note, our last-minute trip was very relaxing, capped with a scoop of gelato.
