ABOUT HL
Defining Culture. Documenting Influence.
More Than Three Decades of Storytelling.
HispanicLifestyle.com is an independent editorial platform dedicated to discovering, documenting, and sharing the people, stories, and experiences that shape our communities.
For more than three decades, we’ve connected audiences with influential voices, business leaders, creative professionals, and organizations through original editorial, photography, video, and in-person experiences.
Today, HispanicLifestyle.com is part of HL Media Network, an independent media company bringing together a family of media properties with a shared purpose: creating meaningful connections through storytelling.
From our signature Latinas of Influence features and HL | Milestone experiences to our digital publication, HL | Culture & Influence, we continue exploring the people, ideas, and perspectives defining our communities.
People. Stories. Experiences.

FOUNDER | HL Media Network
For more than three decades, my work has been about discovering the people, stories and experiences that shape our communities and creating platforms that bring those stories to life.
Over the years, Sandoval has produced more than 200 events nationwide and developed thousands of stories focused on culture, business, leadership, influence and community. Hispanic Lifestyle programming was also broadcast for many years on PBS stations across California, Oklahoma, Arizona and Texas, extending the platform’s reach into homes across multiple markets.
Today, that work continues through HL Media Network, which brings together editorial platforms, signature programs and experiences designed for how audiences discover and engage with stories today. Its portfolio includes HispanicLifestyle.com, HL | Culture & Influence, HL | Milestone, Women • Business • Wellness, Home Tu Casa and other emerging media properties.
Sandoval also relaunched Inland Valley Living, a regional lifestyle and business platform focused on the people, organizations and ideas shaping Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. With an emphasis on women, families, business and quality of life, the platform combines editorial content, digital media and in-person experiences reflecting the growth and character of the Inland Empire.
Sandoval’s career has been recognized with multiple honors, including being a two-time U.S. Small Business Administration Award recipient, along with commendations from community, state and federal organizations for his work as a producer, publisher, photographer and storyteller.
In Remembrance
Our efforts are dedicated to women who have inspired us to be better people: my mother, Mary; my sister, Virginia; and my daughter-in-law, Christina. You are in our hearts and thoughts every day.
